However you got here, you’re welcome here.

If you’re struggling right now, reach out.

You don’t have to have it all figured out, and you don’t have to explain everything at once. Tell us a little about what’s going on and a real person from Eli Cares will get back to you, with no judgment and no runaround.

Ask for help

You are not a burden.

Fill in what you’re comfortable sharing. Everything you send stays private and is only seen by the Eli Cares team.

  • Families with children facing eviction or trying to move into a home: back rent, a first month and deposit, or a utility bill.
  • Young adults 18 to 24 leaving homelessness: starter kits, move-in kits and ID fees.
  • Working single parents: a child care copay, a car repair, a shutoff notice, or diapers and formula.

We pay bills directly to landlords, utilities and vendors, and we work alongside caseworkers who already know you. Don’t have a caseworker? Reach out anyway. We’ll help connect you with one, or point you to someone who can help faster.

In danger right now? Call 911. For a mental-health or suicidal crisis, call or text 988. To find local shelter, food and services any time, dial 211.

Caseworkers, partners and friends

Refer someone to Eli Cares.

Most of our help reaches people through caseworkers at trusted Philadelphia programs. If you work with a family, young adult or single parent who fits one of our programs, send us the case and we’ll follow up quickly.

Teachers, coaches, pastors, employers and neighbors often see it first, too. If someone comes to mind, tell us. If you can, let them know you’re connecting them with Eli Cares, so our call isn’t a surprise.
